Population Profile of China presents selected data from the Census of China in a form that can be readily understood by experts and lay people alike. A graphical presentation has been employed, depicting data in the form of maps and charts. Tables and brief textual descriptions round out the presentation. The material is provided throughout in both English and French. A supplementary booklet is available which contains the full text in Chinese.
