Selected papers from the proceedings of the Geo-Hubei 2014 International Conference on Sustainable Civil Infrastructure, held in Yichang, Hubei, China, July 20-22, 2014. Sponsored by the China Three Gorges University, the Committee on Sustainability of ASCE, and the Geo-Institute of ASCE. Geotechnical Special Publication 250 contains 18 peer-reviewed papers on current issues in unsaturated soil, seepage, and environmental geotechnics and soil behavior. Investigations and solutions from several countries are presented. Topics include: soil modeling and testing; soil-water characterization; modeling and simulation of faults. This GSP will be of interest to both researchers and practitioners in geotechnical engineering.
