The study was undertaken to determine the extent and impact of the work of several groups of stakeholders in the implementation of indigenous peoples' rights act (IPRA). It is intended that the findings of the study will contribute to the strengthening of the policy and legal environment for the protection of the indigenous peoples' (IPs) rights and in designing culturally appropriate programmes and projects in promoting their best interest and welfare.
