The growth of biosignal processing, medical imaging, control systems, artificial intelligence, communication engineering, and biomedical instrumentation have immensely benefited the clinicians in their quality of diagnosis and treatment. Distributed Diagnosis and Home Healthcare (D2H2) deals with accurate and fast diagnosis of diseases and miniaturization and integration of instrumentation. It focuses on improving the quality of patient care from hospital-based system to delivery of healthcare from a central, hospital-based system to one that is more distributed and home-based. Hence it enables the delivery of healthcare to patients anywhere in the world by using different high-performance computing and medical science.
