The annual report summarizes the latest changes of Chinas urban competitiveness, and reviews the patterns and changes of China urban competitiveness over the past few years. The focus is the overall rise of Chinese cities in the past ten years. Coastal cities maintain the pioneering status, while inland cities rise rapidly especially the regional centers which are growing rapidly. This report uses decades of accurate data and various econometric methods, and summarizes in a concise and extracted way. It presents research conducted on Chinas key urban developments, and offers important research findings.
