Author Description

This quartet was written to fill the need for flute quartets in which the 4th player is not required to play in the difficult low range. The title is a play on words to describe the bell-tone effect.The chord structure includes close harmony which appeals to performers in particular. This is a very popular flute ensemble in Ohio contests. OMEA Class C.
