English summary: Written in the second half of the 17th century, Giovan Pietro Bellori's biographies of fifteen famous painters, sculptors and architects of the same period, including Caravaggio, Annibale Carracci, Rubens, Algardi and Poussin and Maratta - who were personally known to him as friends -are highly valued today, not least because of their outstanding image descriptions. This anthology examines Bellori's use of key concepts such as idea (the idea), disegno (drawing/conception), ingegno (talent), grazia (grace), studio (study/effort) and facilita (lightness) and asks to what extent these key ideas contained in 17th century treatise literature based on renaissance tradition are used in these works to pass on long-standing concepts or instead provide evidence of semantic shifts. Additional contributions from the fields of philosophy, literary studies and musicology address the question of to what extent the artistic-theoretical meaning of these key terms can also be decoded by means of their philosophical, literary or musical application. Der Sammelband Begrifflichkeit, Konzepte, Definition untersucht Belloris Verwendung von zentralen Konzepten wie idea (Idee), disegno (Zeichnung/Konzept), ingegno (T
