This book consists of 83 units including a review of the activities in Book 3 and then more blended sounds, compounded words and homophones. The exercises use language in context to develop phonological awareness, graphophonics (sound/symbol relationships) and blending. Includes enrichment and extension activities and a core list of frequently used words for kindergarten, year 1, year 2 and year 3 students. The 'Sounds Right, Read, Write' series consists of four sets of sequential books for Victoria, four for NSW and four for Qld. The exercises are the same but use the handwriting style preferred by each state.
