THE SILKS CRUISEThe Silk Tales volume 6This is the sixth volume in the series, the Silk Tales, dealing with the continuing story of Queen's Counsel (the Silk), David Brant QC. After a difficult, exhausting but highly remunerative fraud trial, David and Wendy decide to take their young daughter Rose on a cruise to Norway to get away from cases, chambers and city life. A chance meeting leads to David being instructed in a particularly difficult murder trial. The case appears straight forward at first, even though the defendant's own friends give evidence against him. However, a series of surprising developments in the case make David wonder what his strategy should be and whether he should ever have taken the case on in the first place.
