Author Description

Dar has been birding for over fifty years, and she continues to be fascinated with the feathered inhabitants that share our planet, especially her corner of it-Michigan's Upper Peninsula (the U.P.). She wanted to share some of her birding experiences and her knowledge of birds with others, so she elected to put her words in the form of poetry. She is no foreigner to the poetic world, as she has been writing poetry since college. This book contains no less than fifty-six offerings, all of which are diverse in their form and presentation. She promises, "Even people who are not connoisseurs of this art form will find something that touches them in one way or another."
