They are habitant to tropical regions. There are about 30 species of cucumis in Asia and Africa.They have enormous medicinal uses. They are also being used in cure of different diseases like hepatitis, bronchitis, eye disorders etc. The mash of cucumbers can be used in treatment of piles, leprosy, dropsy etc. Cucumbers are vital source of moisture content, vitamin C content and show enormous antioxidant activity.
