Selected papers from the proceedings of the Geo-Hubei 2014 International Conference on Sustainable Civil Infrastructure, held in Yichang, Hubei, China, July 20-22, 2014. Sponsored by the China Three Gorges University, the Committee on Sustainability of ASCE, and the Geo-Institute of ASCE. Geotechnical Special Publication 249 contains 13 peer-reviewed papers which discuss recent developments in the evaluation of pavements and characterization of pavement materials. Topics include: aggregrates for pavements; modeling of asphalt pavements; and pavement management and quality control. This GSP will be of interest to both researchers and practitioners in pavement construction and geotechnical engineering.
