for solo guitar Quine's transcription for guitar stays faithful to Bach's original for the lute. Certain bass notes had to be raised an octave to fit the range of the guitar, but the overall bass line is still preserved. All altered bass notes are indicated and full fingerings are shown for those who wish to adhere strictly to the original version.
