This is a 150 page journal. It is mixed with pen and ink sketches by famous medieval artists of the Blessed Virgin Mary along with a few poems celebrating Mary. The poems, prayers and drawings in this journal are here to inspire. This journal has drawings from famous artists, some ancient prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary from eighth-century and earlier Ireland and poetry from English poets celebrating Mary. Writing in this journal may be a kind of reflective thinking on your needs and desires as well as storytelling. Reflect on your state of mind, what you are going through, and write about the past and the present with a curious, inquisitive, and even playful state of mind. Having the ability to see things new can come from this curiosity about oneself and others. We are on a journey like Mary however less grand. We too, like Mary, are somehow a part of the mysterious process of mixing the forces of human and divine. The blending of choice and fate, the influence of nature, and the mighty forces of genetics, biology, and epigenetic wounding that we do not fully understand. Walk with Mary as you walk with yourself knowing who you are. You may have a flourishing of insights and even a new beginning, as hope is born.
