He has played with the idea of the book to give the title "Death to the family" on the advice of the publishing and Christian bookstore he saw from there. [1] In 1995, the book was nominated for the AKO Literature Prize. [2] In the same year was awarded The Golden Owl Literature and Wedding Audience for Dutch Book.
