I have read many different devotionals in the past 30 plus years of living with chronic illness and never have I come across one like this before. You can feel the love in her heart speak through her words. This is the most heartfelt devotional. She touches on the biggest hurdles that we must learn to live with. She offers amazing coping mechanisms and the scripture that she includes with each new topic is transcendent. This allows you to fall in love with Gods word all over again, but from the viewpoint of the chronically ill. I never really knew the distinction until I became sick. God only uses our suffering for good and you can feel that as you read on. She reminds us that we have a great future and to always keep hope alive in our hearts. I plan to keep this devotional by my side always because its nice to be able to pick it up when you are feeling defeated. Robin will lift you up with her beautiful prayers at the end of each chapter.
