Author Description

The knowledge that genuine Christians have persecuted genuine Christians rightly fills us with horror. We know this happened on the Continent at the time of the Reformation, but it will come to us as a shock to discover that the Puritans were more than prepared to do this. The facts of history cannot be denied but they can be ignored. This, alas, has happened, and needs to be remedied lest we have an unbalanced view of those we should admire but not idolize.
