This book relates the story of Emmitsburg from colonial days up to the present time. A preponderance of Bishops and well-known priests have received their training in the Emmitsburg area. Stories of the Blessed Mother's visits have been told from the earliest days. The book continues with the move of Gianna Talone Sullivan from Scottsdale to Emmitsburg along with her life story and the Blessed Mother's continued visits.
