After having a nice sleep-in, I trot down the stairs for breakfast, but I am stabbed in the heart when I discover my oldest brother decided to leave no crumbs behind. Maybe it was an omen. I then go about my day and see what's up around the property. Dad is working underneath the lawnmower and that's a no-go because he'll more than likely ask me to hold a flashlight under it. He catches me and we cut grass-a normal day-but, when I come home, I discover two evil labs that want to eat me and my two little wiener dogs. That's when the nightmare begins. One mistake crept into my future. I had fallen asleep in the liriope grass and then I wake up to screeching. Eppie, the girl wiener dog, is in the jaws of one of the black labs. Joey, the boy wiener dog is pinned down by the other lab who is about to bite down on Joey's neck. The sound of the screen door busting open sends a charge of hope as my dad races out with only fury as his weapon.
