Author Description

In 1652 the pupils of the Jesuit College in Bruges gave a theatrical performance in Latin in honour of Leopold Wilhelm of Austria. The manuscript is here edited and translated, and the event is placed in its historical, cultural, educational context and in its staging conditions.
