Like a shattered Robinson Crusoe trapped in a dead mall, the narrator of these startling poems wanders all night in search of divine patterns and emergency exits. Out past the sinkhole estates, the brownfields progress left behind, our obsolete machineries sing to us a siren song, a fractured fairy tale of the secret self.
