In fact, some of the most magnificent architectural designs at even the local prep schools are not the science or history centers, but the dining hall. Trust me; the design is not there to induce a feeling of euphoria for the students over the macaroons and brand yogurts that may accompany the overpriced insalata. Rather, the edifices are meant to evoke a sense of power and to have little prep school kids accustomed to eating among and with power.
