The photograhs have been selected from the Photograph Collection of the Island History Trust, a community project on the Isle of Dogs in East London. Wonderful black and white photograhs of woemn workers, mums, the annual women's outing from a local pub to the sea, and a WW II photo of AFS women who worked on the fires during the terrible Blitz raids.
