Experts are arguing that AI is too dangerous to continue development. Eliezer Yudkowsky, a long-time expert in AI has said in his recent TIME article: "If somebody builds a too-powerful AI, under present conditions, I expect that every single member of the human species and all biological life on earth dies shortly thereafter.
