The energy efficient and error-tolerant wireless transmission protocol will enable developing IoT (internet of Things) solutions for mobile sensors, particularly used for health monitoring. The mobile sensors can be used in indoor and outdoor scenarios, provide greater freedom for patients who need constant monitoring of their health conditions and extend the paradigm of assisted daily living (ADL). The use of the transmission protocol will provide long battery life for the sensors implying that patients will have a non-obtrusive and cost-efficiency healthcare system to take care of them.
