The collection of peer reviewed papers C-MRS 2012 meeting includes 146 papers selected from Symposium O: TiAl alloys and advanced structure intermetallics, Symposium Q: Aerospace materials, Symposium R: Advanced Magnesium alloy and application, Symposium S: Superalloys, and Symposium T: Advanced titanium alloys.Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters CPCI-S (WoS). Volume two of the four-volume set from the July 2012 congress contains 137 papers reporting research findings on TiAl alloys, magnesium alloys, and superalloys. Five papers from the Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials investigate the processing and mechanical properties of titanium alloys. Other topics include the effect of scandium on the corrosion resistance of cellular aluminum foams, factors influencing CPU heat dissipation of porous magnesium, metal flow behavior in tee joint multidirectional extrusion, and interfacial reactions between ceramic molds and nickel-based superalloys.
