
Computer-Assisted Personalized Sedation (CAPS) has the potential to improve the way sedation is delivered, reducing the cost of many procedures without sacrificing quality of care. In this report, the authors assess the potential market for CAPS and the financial consequences of the technology1s adoption for health care purchasers (insurers), surgeons, anesthesia providers, and health care facilities.
