Volume is indexed by Thomson Reuters CPCI-S (WoS).This book comprises 62 peer-reviewed papers on the topics of Nanoscience and Materials Technology, and has the aim of promoting the development of Nanoscience and Materials Technology, strengthening international academic cooperation and communications and exchanging research ideas. This work provides readers with a broad overview of the latest advances in the field of Nanoscience and Materials Technology. Kao (National Sun Yat-Sen U., Taiwan) et al. collect 62 papers from the 2012 International Conference on Frontiers of Nanoscience and Technology (ICFNST 2012), held in July in Hong Kong. Researchers, engineers, academics, and industry professionals mainly from Asia present research results and development activities in nanoscience and technology, including nanoparticle manufacturing, mechanical properties, the design and fabrication, development, preparation and characterization, manufacturing processes, polymerization, nanostructure, performance, and materials engineering of various materials, such as aluminum thin films, capsaicin injectable gels, lithium-ion batteries, starch, Nifeviroc-loaded microemulsions, and nanowires.
