About the Author Huw Ellis-Williams was brought up in Bangor and studied in Oxford and Exeter. A pianist, organist and part-time composer, he teaches at a comprehensive school in north Wales where he is head of sixth form. Huw has a particular interest in instrumental music of the early 20th century, and in music for theatre and film. He is an examiner for OCR and is co-author of the Rhinegold Education OCR AS and A2 Music Study Guides. Veronica Jamset taught music to young people aged between four and 18 years, in primary and secondary schools, selective and non-selective, in both the state and private sectors in the West Midlands, before taking up her first post in Higher Education as a teacher trainer. She worked in two colleges in Birmingham and then moved to St Mary's College at Strawberry Hill in Twickenham, where she became principal lecturer in music and director of in-service and continuing education.
