Since 1993 she has been a member of the world history committee of the College Board. Janice J. Terry is a graduate of the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She is the author of THE WAFD, 1919-1952: CORNERSTONE OF EGYPTIAN POLITICAL POWER, MISTAKEN IDENTITY: ARAB STEREOTYPES IN POPULAR WRITING, and numerous articles on contemporary events in western Asia.
