Provides a brief description of the ILO's International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) in 11 Asian countries. Reviews the available ILO Conventions in relation to child labour and discusses the new Convention on the prohibition of hazarduous as well as the most exploitative and abusive forms of child labour to be drafted over the next two years.
