Develop effective strategies to deal with it, whatever it is.This was exactly the purpose of Innova-Con 2019, the IAOIP’s annual meeting held January 29 & 30, 2019, which was dedicated to helping us understand and prepare the waves of disruption that are sweeping across all facets of our lives.IAOIP, The International Association of Innovation Professionals, is the world’s leading membership association of those working in the innovation field. Our annual gathering, Innova-Con, provides us with a welcome opportunity to meet, discuss, and learn from one another.In preparing the Sixth Annual Meeting for 2019 we began to be very excited about the speakers who were gathering to share their insights, and we realized that the content was going to be so rich and valuable that we could not pass up the opportunity to compile the conference proceedings into this book.However, the conference was not just a one-way dialog from speakers to audience. Rather, it was designed to promote interaction among all 90 speakers and attendees through a series of collaborative activities. Hence, all conference attendees are in fact the co-authors of this book, as the two day conference was a rich dialog among 90 innovation professionals, and this book captures the amazing presentations as well as a the collaborative work that all 90 of us did together.
