Dash When my son decided to leave our hometown, I couldn’t wait to leave with him. Little did I know that I’d be stepping right into a new fresh hell. It’s Christmas 2.0 aka Candy Cane Key. Everyone is in love on this stupid island. They love their town. They love their school. But, let me tell you, true love doesn’t exist. Romantic love is made up. A joke. A total lie. And there’s no one who can tell me anything different. No matter how gorgeous or sunshiney she may be. Summer There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than Candy Cane Key. I love the little island off the coast of Florida with its sunshine and year round holiday cheer. Always the first to jump in and help out, I’m all for welcoming newcomers to our little slice of heaven. Even him. He’s cynical, annoyed with the world, and the biggest grump I’ve ever met.
