Lew Grade’s Incorporated Television Company – known as Independent Television Corporation for sales to the United States – became a major producer and distributor of television programmes during a Golden Age of British television. At a time when most television dramas were studio-bound and recorded on videotape, ITC filmed action adventure series on 35mm, creating mini movies for the small screen and selling these throughout the world.Jaz Wiseman has been writing about and researching ITC TV series since the mid-1980s. ITC Entertained The World is an on-going series of podcasts created, hosted and edited by him. Launched in April 2020, these proved an instant hit with fans of iconic shows of the 1960s and early 70s.
