Author Description

This book is the story of my surprise calling to the priesthood in the fifth decade of my life. Beyond my own life experience in the working world (for some thirty years) and now through ten years of priesthood, 23 1⁄2 Degrees Away from God is about the call to conversion: the call that hopefully all of us have had or will soon experience - a call to God who is the Source of love and life itself. The working world in the contracting profession, prior to my call to the priesthood, has helped immensely in my understanding of both the weaknesses and strengths of human nature. We have all "tilted" to one degree or another away from God and from His transforming light and grace. The powerful love of God enables all of us to move from wherever we are in our spiritual lives to return to the True Light and discover the true meaning and purpose of life.
