This book offers a new critical text of the "philosophical" part of Philodemus' De pietate, together with an English translation and commentary. Introducing a new method for reconstructing the fragmented papyrus rolls recovered from Herculaneum, this is the first edition based on the papyri themselves, and the first edition to bring together fragments that, until now, were thought to be from different rolls.
