Well, for me it is the best news, but for him, the worst. Dad and I have been joined at the hip since mom ditched out on us. I have always been totally dependent on him. I am ready to launch, and he isn’t entirely ready for it, which is exactly why the news is the best for me, but the worst for him. I am ready to explore what the world has to offer. When my brother’s best friend asks if we can keep an eye on his kid, then explains she doesn’t have a good place to live for the first couple months after her move… we end up offering the apartment over our garage.
