The Forgotten Ones is a story about various people who were not rich enough to be talked about in the history books. The story starts with Alice, her mother, and her sister who are traveling to New York from South Hampton. It shows what they went through before and during the trip, it shows how strong Alice was even as things were going wrong around her. Then you will meet Gwendolyn, a nanny who always felt at home with the family she worked for but found out their true feelings when the Titanic sank. She soon learns that not everyone is as callous as the family worked for. Throughout the story, there will be several others that will be met and learn their stories. From a young girl who gets separated from her family to a reporter who writes about the First and last voyage of this ship.
