Author Description

Poet Kit Kelen writes narrative poetry about feelings and observations of a tree. Artist Karla Caprali beautifully illustrates the book with paper cutting pictures that shows us not only the urgent issue of deforestation staggering on a global scale but also a living being silent struggle. The Last Tree is a book for the entire family to enjoy, and we hope to be an inspiration for future generations towards formulating a conservation plan to prevent further deforestation and degradation of the environment.
