What's it about? Second book in a series, here are 4 short stories for any season and any age reader. Mirror Image follows a magician's discovery of a "possessed" (?) mirror that peeks at the past, present and future for different people. Uncle Clarence and the Pickle Parlor is a light vignette about a mid-1800's pickler, his on-the-job accident, and a trinket box with a strange keepsake that finds its way to the author. In Flick, the High Tech Fairy, we're given a glimpse of a parallel world through the eyes of one of its inhabitants, and some of his observations on human behavior. Bullwinkle's Comet introduces us to the optimistic spirit of Bullwinkle Merkey, who discovers a possibly valuable meteorite in his garden and in the process of his fascination with it, even more about himself. Both Halloween Candy (book 1) and Halloween Candy II were compiled as a literacy fund-raising effort for the author's Rotary Club.
