"The emission of greenhouse gases such as CO2 is the main cause of global warming. Its separation from different emission sources such as oil and gas production plants, chemical industries, power stations. The reduction of the greenhouse effect has been a mutual interest of the world and has been stated in Kyoto Protocol of UN Framework. Conventional processes such as absorption, cryogenic distillation, and adsorption are used for this purpose but there are some drawbacks such as high energy consumption, process complexity, and high capital cost are major issues that need some efficient alternative technique. Hydrate-Based Gas Separation (HBGS) process has gained interest globally as a green solution for the separation of near volatility mixtures. Till now many papers have been published on gas hydrate technology but a book covering all the aspects of carbon capture, transportation and storage through Gas hydrate technology has not been published. This book will cover the type of reactors, promotors, techno economics, environmental aspects of gas hydrate technology"--
