In the present study, the effort is to be made to study the effect of high temperature on mortar in two sets. First containing controlled cement mortar and second set containing cement mortar containing Pond ash replaced partially with fine aggregate. Objectives Considering usefulness of Pond Ash, following objectives are to be set for completion of the project: a) To investigate the possibilities of replacing pond ash in cement mortar with sand. b) To investigate the possibilities of replacing pond ash in cement mortar with cement. c) To access the strength of cement mortar incorporating pond ash at various replacement percentages.
