Essential RE: Expressing explores how people express what matters most to them, with creative ideas and resources for the RE classroom. It examines prayer in Christianity, Islam and Hinduism; how art, language, music and silence express ideas; how biblical translations and interpretations relate to historical contexts and how random acts of kindness reflect attitudes and beliefs. There are simple ways into the topics, engaging opportunities for students to reflect on what matters most to them and varied ideas for expressing their understanding in the light of their learning.
