Author Description

I am simply a laymen who became very interested in the study of 'the historical Jesus' during a period of life in which I began to inquire more deeply into the foundations of my Christian faith. This book is one of the fruits of my labors. In it I examine the ancient sources for Jesus using standard 'historical-critical' methodology, and then proceed to draw forth corresponding application. I am, once again, a laymen, and have no formal training in religious studies. Nevertheless, the book is fairly 'academic' and engages with many leading contemporary scholars and publications regarding the subject.
