Biomaterials play a crucial role in medicine and biology. Their development and improvement are responsible of some of the most significant advances in clinical practice in the last 50 years. They contribute significantly to an increase people lifespan and maintain health and quality of life. Italian Scientists are very active in the field of Biomaterials.
