This expanded and rewritten version of Sir Maurice Kendall's well-known monograph, A Course in Multivariate Analysis, takes full account of the rapid growth of knowledge during the past fifteen years. The author stresses the practical applications of multivariate analysis in such fields as agriculture, economics, education, business, medicine, and sociology. Algorithms are provided that may be used on a desk calculator, and the book clearly specifies the point where larger computers are required. Many examples and tables are included.
