This volume analyzes the forces shaping the geography of the Canadian economy at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The main focus of the book is the reality of globalisation--the fact that there is now a dominant world-scale economic system within which countries, regions, and specific communities exist. It is divided into to three sections (Context, Sectors, and Regions) to provide comprehensive and accessible coverage.
