Author Description

This text presents a variety of art activities intended to stimulate children's writing - together with many display ideas. These art activities can also be enjoyed as creative activities on their own and many of the ideas can be adapted for use by children of different ages. Children are encouraged to create their own ways of presenting their writing. The ideas within can be used for a variety of topics, though, while covering many areas of writing, the emphasis is on creative activities and their presentation. Line drawings and black and white pages are included at the back of the book and may be photocopied for use in the classroom. We hope you find that the ideas in this book will encourage children to enjoy writing and to present their written work creatively.
