Product Description In nearly all countries, the importance of fresh water for every major aspect of development is fully recognized. However, during the last decade it has become clear that it is not a gift of limitless proportions that can be recklessly exploited. Moreover, the problems of fresh wateravailability have only recently been linked to larger environmental concerns. This book emerges from the activities of the "Nile 2000 Conference" held in February 1992 in Cairo.
