Author Description

Garrett was a hard-bitten, Irish borne lieutenant who grudgingly accepted the command of a platoon of the new Negro horse soldiers. His first assignment turned into a nightmare of murder, racial hatred and kidnapping. It culminated in a brutal manhunt through the trackless wastes of a vast desert where violence and desperation held sway.
